Initially families of our founder president and secretary were individually working for needy and time to time distributed clothing, food , articles for personal hygiene, books etc to poor children.
This club unit is brainchild of Mr Anurag narain. The idea and effort of creating a platform for generous  ladies having enthusiasm of doing something for society and  to work for community, germinated in the mind of Mr Anurag Narain and this thought seed was nurtured by our founder president Mrs Chitra  and founder secretary Mrs Neha and initially a society named Daughters Of Durga evolved and started working for poor and needy. With the efforts of founder president and secretary and Mr Anurag and with the help of Rotarian shri Vijay Mahindra (Lakhimpur). IW smt Malvika Gupta(Lucknow) and Mr Pramod kumar Bajpai ,Mr Avinash Mishra, Mr Avinash Chandra gupta ,Smt Subhashini Srivastava this club unit took the shape with all its charter members,  smt Dr Shivani Misra and Mrs Anuradha gave their precious time and vehement efforts to shape the club and to give it a better complexion. The club was finally launched and on 19th December 2015 in the presence of District chairperson Mrs Pinky Bansal and eminent social worker Mr Badrivishal Gupta the instalation ceremony took place in the presence of about 300 renowned entities of the society and a souvenier was also published on the occassion. Mrs Chitra became the chartered president and Mrs Neha Narain was the Chartered secretary of IW D.O.D.(Daughters of Durga) Hardoi. Shri Amrit Sinha eminent classical dancer performed on the eve of the occassion.

Charter presentation took place on 14 may 2016 in the presence of chief guest Mrs Prabha Raghunathan.
